The idea behind Now Showing was born during a conversation between two friends, one with three children and the other a newlywed who had been surrounded by children all her life. Both loved shopping and couldn’t believe the lack of choices around Virginia Beach when it came to maternity boutiques. After about a year of research, Now Showing, opened in the spring of 2007. Over three years, and after baby number one for that newlywed, the idea to grow Now Showing became a reality with the re-launch of NowShowingMaternity.com
